Be a Farmer for a Day!

First, we will visit Vega Chavarria Familiy to actively participate in the daily cow milking. See other tours by JAZON.

Later, we will go to the farm of a family that cultivates pineapple and we will actively participate in its planting process and its harvesting.

Next stage is the visit to Morales Vega Family where we will see how organic pigs wastes are used to produce biogas, as well as how through this process they reduce environmental pollution and also improve their economical situation.

In the Gamboa family farm we will see how the organic wastes of the cows are transformed into organic fertilizer by small Californian worms which is used in their crops. Actively we will follow the process of pressed cheese preparation and we will milk cows by hand.

Finally we will visit Vega Soto family. With them we will learn how to make “tortillas palmeadas” and we will brew coffee the traditional way.
